Carolyn's sister Susan and her husband Greg live in wonderful neighborhood in Walnut Creek, California. They have lived in their home there for several decades and have slowly made numerous improvements. Their latest improvements involved totally remodeling the master bedroom bathroom and the small bathroom adjacent to their guest bedroom (see photos at bottom). They had previously remodeled the other small bathroom in their home and, as is apparent in the photos, they wanted to keep these latest remodeling efforts architecturally compatible with the earlier efforts. Their previous remodeling efforts included a total rebuild of the kitchen and nearby small bathroom, new wood flooring, new windows and french doors, the addition of a balcony patio area off the back of the house, a new roof and new exterior paneling of the rear wall. Most recently, their home was flooded due to a leaky roof and that led to another round of work, only this time restoration.
