We took yet another trip with our favorite travelling companions, Susan and Greg Yim (Susan is Carolyn's sister). This time the Yims drove up via Crater Lake and the Lava beds and then on to Portland, Oregon, where we met them for a several day stay to see some of the sights. We had been there several times before but since Portland is our favorite Pacific Coast city we welcomed an opportunity to visit it again. Unfortunately, I wasn't in much of a photo taking mood so my coverage of the visit was rather spotty. However, Greg took a lot of photos and I have added a lot of those to ours. You can tell Greg's photos because they are date and time stamped. The first photos are from the Yim's visit to Crater Lake and the Lava beds. After that we have both our photos of the downtown area, followed by our driving trip up the Columbia to visit the Maryhill museum, then a cruise up the Willamette and ending with a visit to the Cornerstone garden and art gallery in Sonoma. We ended our trip by taking a very slow amble down the coast, stopping in Walnut Creek for another visit with the Yims, and a dim sum lunch, of course, and then onto San Luis Obispo to have lunch with my brother David and wife Christy.
