This museum had just opened when we arrived. Inside there is a huge collection of Indian art from ancient to modern. Unfortunately, much of it was inside darkened enclosures which made hand-held photography not so good. If we ever return to this museum I will bring one of those one-legged camera sticks for holding my camera still. So please excuse the fuzziness of most of these pictures. They were the best out of a much larger number. The beauty of the objects of art in this museum are not to be missed if you are ever in Washington D.C.
